Description
The surface went through a wood burning kiln where ash and flame traveled and marked it as they went. That is where the color comes from, not a glaze recipe. It fits on a narrow shelf or a side table without crowding it. It holds a modest bunch upright. Every wood fired piece is its own event in the kiln, and this is the only result that looks like this.
Care
Dishwasher safe. Give large or fragile pieces a hand wash, and keep anything with gold luster out of the microwave and the dishwasher — the gold is real metal. Pit-fired pieces are not for food.
